bijo are Birgit und Josef Schattbacher, a great team, and together we run our organic farm in the beautiful Pinzgau in the Austrian state of Salzburg -bijoFARM.
The centuries-old atmosphere with all the benefits of our modern life achieve a harmonious balance in the our bijoFARM, which has been passed down through our family’s generations since 1492. This is a place we love and want to preserve. We will be happy to pamper our guests during their stay in the ROSENsuite, in rooms that are simple, yet very special, and which emanate tranquillity and bestow a feeling of serenity. Immerse yourself in a small, personal spa area with infrared sauna and whirlpool during your stay, and enjoy revitalising treatments at the massage practice in the main building.

Organic Our way of life
Organic isn’t a mere trend with us – it is our lifestyle, and all the aspects of our life are based on this philosophy. We keep free-range geese and dwarf Cebu beef cattle on our family-run organic farm, and the animals enjoy roaming freely on our meadows and pastures. That’s why their deliciously tender meat tastes so good! Our fresh, natural products come mainly from our bijoFARM: eggs, beef, tea, rose delicacies and vegetables are the main ingredients of our home-made slow food dishes
We work with the environment – organic, ecological
Our work on the bijoFARM is as environmentally-friendly as possible: we use wood chips for heating, we have our own plant-based, water-purifying system, our own water source, our electricity comes from our photovoltaic system and we have been driving an electric car since summer 2014.
The innovative bijoFARM resort is ideal for exclusive company meetings, coaching sessions and intimate, private celebrations.
